    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: September 6, 2026

    ORO Automotive ("we", "us") runs this website and a mobile detailing service in Middlebury, Elkhart, Goshen, Bristol, Granger and the surrounding Elkhart County and St. Joseph County area. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

    Information we collect

    We only ask for what we need to quote, schedule and complete a job:

    • Contact details — your name, phone number and email address, so we can confirm the appointment and reach you on the day.
    • Service address — the street address or ZIP code where the work happens. This is a mobile service, so we cannot do the job without it.
    • Vehicle details — year, make, model, condition, because these determine the price and how long the job takes.
    • Job notes — anything you choose to tell us, such as gate codes, pet hair, spills or where to park.
    • Booking and payment records — the service booked, date and time, price, deposit status and referral code used. Card numbers are entered directly with our payment processor and never reach our servers; we only see a payment reference and the outcome.
    • Maintenance plan accounts — for invite-only members, an email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), and a payment method token held by our processor.
    • Referral program entries — the referrer's name and the code issued, plus any consent you give for us to use photos.
    • Technical and advertising data — if you allow it, our advertising tag collects an anonymous identifier, the pages you visit and whether you booked, so we can measure our ads. See our Cookie Policy.

    We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, we do not ask for Social Security numbers or driver's license numbers, and we do not sell your information.

    Why we use it

    • To give you a price, hold your appointment slot and show up at the right place at the right time.
    • To take a deposit or payment and keep records for tax and accounting purposes.
    • To send booking confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices and receipts.
    • To answer questions you send through the contact form, by text, by phone or by email.
    • To run the referral program and the invite-only maintenance plan.
    • To measure whether our advertising works — only with your consent.
    • To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations, and to resolve disputes.

    We send marketing messages only if you asked for them. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text message.

    Who we share it with

    We share information with service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it. They are not allowed to use it for their own purposes:

    • Hosting and database — our website, booking database and email-sending functions run on managed cloud infrastructure (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase).
    • Payments — Stripe processes deposits, balances and stored payment methods under its own privacy policy.
    • Email delivery — a transactional email provider delivers confirmations and receipts.
    • Scheduling — appointment details may be added to the owner's Google Calendar.
    • Internal alerts — new bookings trigger a private notification to the owner in Discord containing the customer name, phone, service, date/time and city only — never your street address.
    • Advertising measurement — Google Ads, only if you consent to advertising cookies.

    We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business. We never sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising to you or for profiling that has legal effects on you.

    How long we keep it

    Booking, payment and tax records are kept for seven years, which is what our accounting and tax obligations require. Quote and contact-form messages that never turn into a job are deleted within two years. Maintenance plan accounts are kept while the membership is active and for seven years afterwards for tax purposes. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep.

    Your choices and rights

    You can contact us at any time to:

    • ask what information we hold about you and get a copy;
    • correct anything that is wrong;
    • ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep;
    • withdraw consent for cookies or marketing;
    • ask us not to sell or share your information — we already do neither.

    Email 574prodetailing@gmail.com or call (574) 213-2605. We reply within 45 days. We may need to verify who you are before acting on a request, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission. If we deny a request you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

    Depending on where you live, state privacy laws such as the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act may give you these rights by statute. We honor them for every customer regardless of location. Residents of the EU or UK who contact us may also ask us to restrict or port their data.

    Security

    Data is stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security, encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and only the owner can view customer records in the admin area. No system is perfect, so please do not send sensitive information such as full card numbers by email or text.

    Changes

    If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
